#8 How will you manage my project? Does MAMCO assign a manager to each project, or a manager and an engineer? How do you keep your customers informed on the progress of their projects, including what kind of project reports do you communicate to your customers with—and how often?
Yes, we assign a project manager to over-see each new project. It’s their responsibility to co-ordinate with the other departments involved (mainly the Engineering Group during the “build” phase of a project) and to provide the customer weekly updates of the identified milestones, using project timelines.

#10 Can you help me select the best material to use?
Typically, our customers specify the material to be used for their projects. However, we are frequently asked if the material they’ve selected is “the right one” for their product. One of the questions that we frequently ask is how a part is going to be used – this helps us in suggesting the best materials for part function, as well as “mold ability”.

#11 Does MAMCO permit our engineers or managers to be on site for the prototype development and manufacturing portions of the project?
Yes. In fact, while we don’t require our customers to be on site, we do welcome it—having you on board from Day One of the design process ensures a higher success rate in meeting specifications and requirements. Our Customer Process Integration gives you a front-row seat to the custom injection molding process, from initial design stages to shipping, and our engineers will work closely with you to determine where best to make changes in the design of your custom mold.
